List of Underrated Manga and Anime You Should Absolutely Read / Watch

Firstly, if I ask you a question, what are the best manga or anime you've ever read/watched? Research (within the community of ppl I know) says that, 60% choose Naruto, while the others are OPM, stupid ecchi+harem anime, and dragon ball.

GUYS!! Those aren't THE ONLY good stuff to enjoy.. you know. 

Anyway, if you guys wonder what underrated means, underrated doesn't mean "Under 18 mustn't open". NONONONO!!! (Sorry, some of my friends thought that underrated means 18+)

Underrated means = underestimate the extent, value, or importance of (someone or something).

So, here's the list of underrated anime / manga in my opinion. These manga / anime should have MORE VIEWS!! Like SERIOUSLY!! Anyway, Enjoy (⌒▽⌒)

1. Nanoka no Kare / Nanohana no Kare

Nanohana no Kare is the type of manga that make you sympathize with the main heroine. I mean, c'mon! How can you not sympathize with her!!! 

Basically, the story is like this. 

There's a girl, her name is Nanoka. She somehow confessed to a guy who sat behind her in a fast food restaurant, after hearing his heart broken story (I too don't know why? Is it normal to confess to someone that quickly??). And then, she went to a karaoke, got 'forced' by some punk, and she was saved by her ex who broke her heart. That ex, in the end, forced her to a kiss. As you read the story, you can't help but feel, WHY MANGAKA?? WHY???

2. Gakuen Alice / Alice Academy

I'm kinda impressed with Gakuen Alice, you see. The art!! Do you know that gakuen alice is made on 2003. And the art in the manga is awesome! I'm not exaggerating, but it really is awesome. The way mangaka-sama draw Mikan, with her ponytails is so cute.

If you're searching for a manga, with awesome plot and art, and is already completed, then, I absolutely recommend Gakuen Alice. They also have anime for this. Well, if you ask me which do I prefer, anime or manga? Honestly I prefer the manga. They express the emotions a lot better and the art in the manga is a lot nicer. So, check it out!!

3. Saijou no Meii

Well, honestly, I have just discovered about this manga recently too. But this one! If you like mangas with logic and brains, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS!! The manga is about medical stuff.. Cut it short, there's this boy who is an absolutely talented surgeon. In some parts, my brain goes *poof*. *poof* means cannot comprehend any further TvT... But this manga is epic! Awesome! Bravo! Magnificento! FYI, this manga has the same mangaka as the legendary Yakitate Japan!

4. Chouka Kou

Another manga where your brain needs to be very healthy to understand the story.. This is another one of my favorite where I think should get more views. Its kinda like history of fictional China. The story begins with a coup d'etat and a beautiful yet pitiful princess, who's not your typical naive hime-sama, but has the brains. There is a very tiny bit of romance (sometimes I wonder whether it can even be considered as romance). After all the story isn't one that focuses around the romance, but more on the revenge part.

5. Colette Wa Shinu Koto Ni Shita

For you shoujo lovers out there, this is one of the must read you should absolutely must read. The story is so awesome, so very unique, and so very not clice. I mean, with a setting of ancient times, with a young but capable doctor who wanted to kill herself by jumping to the well. But WHO KNOWS that the well is connected to the underworld? And that's how her romance with Hades begin... Ow Gawd, the story is beautiful...

6. Sakamoto desu ga?

I guess this one is kinda popular huh... Well, anyway, there's anime and manga for this one. The story goes around the oh-so-capable-yet-amusing main character. Yeah, he's our dear Sakamoto-kun. With the amazing story that makes you wanna laugh so bad, you should check it out.

7. Kyou no Kira-kun

Hah.... Memories... This manga is introduced to me by my bff who I love so much, even with all those conflicts between us. She introduced this manga to me right before she transferred to K-POP. Well, story is a true heart-warming romance and tear jerker. I mean, you worked so hard so that the guy you like would look at you. But, who would have known that, when the guy you like likes you back, his sickness since childhood would show up. And that is no ordinary illness, because you are just a step away from death once the symptoms appear.

8. Online - The Comic

When PSP are combined with RPG and DEATH... Damn,,, this is one exciting manga. When a free PSP somehow or another end up in your letter box, and if you discard it or pay no attention to it, you head would blow up... Creepy, but cool.. When, the compensation for losing the game means death... Damn.... such dark horror..
For you mystery, psychological, and horror lovers, you must check this one out. Well, its not gory, not at all. So, you don't have to be worried about it

9. Chihayafuru

Have you heard about karuta sports? No. Do you even know what karuta is? Don't worry. Even I don't know what karuta means until I watch Chihayafuru.... Well, what is karuta? Search for it yourself in google. Ok? The manga revolves around Chihaya and her karuta journey, her romance between (boy 1) Taichi and (boy 2) Arata, and her pursue for the seat of the QUEEN OF KARUTA.

10. Sekai Oni

Again, for mystery, horror, and psychological manga lovers, THIS IS A MUST READ!!! It's kinda gory, but the story is awesome.!! The thrill when the mystery is solved, the excitement when they survive each day, and the sudden surprise when they thought that they have survived demise (I won't tell you, check it yourself ><)... Even though the art is kinda... whateverish..., the story is awesome and so creative that I would want moar and moar every day!!
